The density of HCL(solution) is 1.134g/cm3.it 37%pure.meaning its purity by mass per cm3 will be(37/100)*1.134=0.476g of HCL per 1000cm3 of solution.molar mass HCL is = molar mass of Hydrogen + molar mass of chlorine: molar mass of hydrogen=1g and molar mass of chlorine=35g therefore:molar mass of HCL is=(35+1)=36g therefore if 36g of HCL gives us 1mol 0.476g of HCL will give us? =(0.476/36)*1 =0.01322molHCL in 1cm3 but molarity of a solution is =mol/litre therefore molarity of the HCL solution = (1000*0.0132)*1
(remember we multiply by 1000 because :1litre=1000cm3) molarity=13.22
